Lohsa Bathing Area - Lake Drei­weiberner See

Lake Drei­weiberner See has a sur­face area of 2.86 square kilo­me­tres. The Lake was cre­ated by flood­ing of the for­mer Drei­weibern lig­nite mine. The Lohsa bathing area is on the south­ern shores of Lake Drei­weiberner See and is about 200 metres long. There is also a dog swim­ming area here. There is a glass pyra­mid hous­ing a restau­rant right by the bathing area. In addi­tion, there is also a play­ground in the form of a ship, which is par­tic­u­larly pop­u­lar with chil­dren. There are bath­room facil­i­ties and park­ing on the spot. An asphalted lake­side walk runs for 8 kilo­me­tres along the bathing area.
